ERS are working alongside Stride Treglown architects on the Future Technology Building at Portsmouth University.
The building relies on passive strategies such as a Tromb wall and thermal mass to achieve thermal comfort and low energy demand.
ERS are undertaking the dynamic modelling, assessing the passive strategies of the building, as well as the visual comfort in accordance to BREEAM requirements, assessing the risk of overheat to meet the CIBSE TM52 criteria, and the Part L compliance.
