Hounslow Place, London

Project Team:

  • Architects: Pollard Thomas Edwards
  • Contractor: Bennett Construction

This former commercial site has been transformed into a vibrant residential neighbourhood, delivering nearly 300 homes, local shops, and a carefully designed network of streets, creating a new pedestrian route to Hounslow East Underground Station.

Bennett was appointed as the Main Contractor for this ambitious scheme, which included the construction of 296 residential units, comprising:

  • 14 townhouses
  • 9 apartment blocks, offering a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as duplex units in various configurations

The development is structured into three distinct areas:

  1. The South Block – Fronting London Road, with ground-floor commercial space and residential units above.
  2. The North Block – A wholly residential section along the north-west boundary, featuring communal amenity space at ground level.
  3. The Mews Houses – A row of 14 homes along the eastern boundary, offering a more intimate residential feel.

A new north-south access route acts as a spine through the development, seamlessly linking London Road with the east-west footpath at the northern edge of the site.

We provided Part L, Part F, and Part E consultancy, ensuring compliance with UK regulations for energy efficiency, ventilation, and acoustic performance.

This development enhances connectivity, revitalises the urban fabric, and delivers high-quality homes in a well-planned, sustainable setting.
